Additional information would also be appreciated. Do you get any errors or just no display at all? If no errors and no display, can you check your error logs to see if something is in there? Or, can you temporarily turn on WordPress Debug Mode so the errors display? I need something so that I can look for the problem.

Regarding the better RSS plugin I just get nothing displayed and there are no errors displayed where I have placed it.

Ignore it. I had home page selected, just selected front page and it’s working again. Sorry to have troubled you.
That one actually gets a lot of people. The Home Page and the Front Page are generally, but not always, the same thing. I am glad it is working for you now.
