2.0 notifications???

I just tried to put my email address into the little form in order to get email notices when new wordpress releases come out, but it always comes back as “Page Not Found”…

I tried several times because several links that I have clicked in this “new wordpress” site have come back with the “Page Not Found”, but I tried them again and they came up…

Not sure….but I’d like to know when a stable release of 2.0 comes out… Any ideas?

Not too sure about the form but WordPress 2, which is a stable version, has been released. Just look under the Download link in the navigation

And the 404’s that go away after a refresh or two are a result of a gazillion people overloading the server. 404’s that don’t go away are either that too or just a result of something that was overlooked on this new version of the site.

did they switch servers or something?

cause the whole refresh thing doesn’t help whatsoever… i have to just keep hitting “back” and clicking the link again and again until it works… did they test the new site enough?

no offense to those in charge… but its kinda frustrating…cause i didn’t get the 404’s on the old site version… and this new version of the site doesn’t seem as organized…maybe its still in development…

hopefully this will be fixed soon…

I believe they’re still working on it Kahil as it does seem a bit unstable alright. Just give it a couple of hours and it should be right as rain

Yes, we’re working on fixing the sporadic 404s and tweaking the styling.
