• Hi there,

I recently installed this plugin http://www.deanlee.cn/?p=111 and I think it might be the cause of some problems, as the timing of them seemed to occur after installing it.

I used the permalink plugin to change my permalinks from /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%
    to this /%postname%/

I have since changed them back to their original structure with the date and removed the plugin.

The social media icons at the bottom of my posts are all working fine on my old posts. But any new post I have in draft mode now has a 410 Gone error for the twitter icon and the facebook one will not work either. The stumble upon, diggit and delicious still work.

I haven’t published one of the new drafts yet because I assume it will show the big mess at the bottom of the post with the icons out of place and the 410 Gone error.

The 410 error shows up as a link to twitter with the name of the post in it and the link starts with the word nginx. I see that in the 410 error link it only shows the post name. Shouldn’t it be showing the full permalink name with the date? Perhaps this is the problem? Even though I removed the permalink redirect plugin something is still causing the use of the real permalink structure which has the date in it and thus causing the 410 gone error.

Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I can’t understand why the icons work for the old posts but not the new ones, seems strange.

    Thanks 🙂
