probably;
some themes have special css classes for the comment if it is made by author or admin; for instance in twenty ten: .comment-author-admin
you can then use this class in style.css to hightlight your own comments.
if you link to a page with your comments and replies, someone might be able to point these css classes out to you.

Is there a way to set it so that when I make a comment on one of my blog posts (responding to a reader) that it will be highlighted in a different color? Right now it’s the same as other comments so I look like a subscriber, not the owner of the post. thank you
