Thanks mate, but still no multi page reviews though 🙁 Always next one 😀

Very nice plugin! Just what I was looking for. I hate to say things I wish it had, because i know you have spent hours working on this. I have to agree with the first post, multiple pages for reviews would make this plugin 100% awesome 🙂

    Great work!

Any word on the multi pages, it’s the only thing I need now to get started using this 🙂

It’s an interesting concept, but would involve some more options. I’ll test it out and see what I can come up with, but not sure how this would work with the default pagination, or who would end up writing reviews that are more than one page long. What are your plans for this?

It’s not a review for multiple pages.

It’s having separate pages for each product. Im my instance I would be using it for game reviews so I need to have a page for each game as I cannot bundle them all onto one layout.

That makes more sense. I already have that planned. We may be looking at within 2 weeks for that functionality.

With planning this out, would it work if there was a multiple select box to pick which pages it is active on? Or were you thinking of some other type of enabling it per page?

My initial idea was to have a main (master) page, for me this would be a catalogue of all the games. Then you would have child pages (slaves) which would be under the main (master) page and all of them would have reviews enabled.

This way it will get around a possibly unsightly admin page of lots of tick boxes byy just selecting the the master page you wish to use.

A new version will be released tomorrow which will include this and a bit more 😉

2.0.0 will hit the servers in a few minutes. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the multiple page implementation, which also paved the way to add in hProduct reviews, since thats the only review microformat that makes sense for using multiple pages.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Wow, could i find this topic before? I had to do a lot of modification of 1.1.7 version to allow multiple pages. Now i have what i want in the plugin… One week later, you did it.

(I put one col more in the DB that extract de Post ID or page id where the button of submit are. Then i show the reviews if the id of the DB = the id of the page. Do you understand? It’s a bit rudimentary, how did you do it?..that take me a few hours)

I will have to test the new version i think

The same concept.. each review is tied to the page id in the database. The 2.x release took plenty of hours with all of the additional changes, but it turned out to be a very good change.. Let me know what you think of the new version when you test it.
