I try to alter the setting for my theme by using the theme options that came with the theme. but it shows only partially.
when i use the same theme on my localhost it works perfectly but when i try to use it on my webserver it loads only partially.
could it have something to do with the settings on the server?
Is this your own theme or a downloaded one?

when uploading a new theme i get the following message

That’s a browser issue. Nothing to do with WordPress.
It would probably be helpful to indicate what Theme you’re using and, if it isn’t a Theme found in the Repository, a link to the Theme.
