No page refresh using jquery help.

I was wondering if some one could point me in the right direction. What I’m trying to achieve is blog page that will have no page refresh when you sort between categories. I found this tutorial and it works great in html and php, but when you go to you use it with wordpress only some of it actually works.

What I’m trying to do:
Basically I’m just trying to load content from one div with an id of #content from one page/file to another with the same id without a page refresh.

I have most of it working. The URL gets appended and the active links are working in the nav. But, the content in #content div is not being called in from the other file/page.

If anyone could be of some help it would be greatly appreciated.
