Theme Hunt: News Site / ala Topix.net

I’ve looked all over, but no luck so far. I am searching for a news-site type theme — flexible hopefully. I really like the new layout of http://www.topix.net. Of course, the depth and functionality are not necessary. I like 3 column layout, with two on left for posts / news, far right for sidebar. I also liked the featured posts area up top.

Does anyone know of anything like this? I’ve found kiwi — which is pretty darned cool and automated, but its too flashy on other levels.
