Having the same problem here. Only displaying date, no actual link or info. It does generate a fb:eventlink element, but I’m not sure if that should turn into something or not…
I have the same problem of only a date appearing in my events list.
The events list shows as expected if I am logged in as the Facebook user that created the Facebook application. If I am logged in as another Facebook user, only the dates appear in the events list.
Yes, I’m having the same problem with events and this is the only reason I installed the plugin. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.
Oddly, my event is now showing but it is one day ahead of the event that it links to. Take a look here at the event for Leonard Weinglass. What gives?
Hey Jamil, have you had any luck figuring that one out? I’m having the same issue, events showing up a day “behind” ie the Event happens on July 6th but the listing on our site via SFC says July 7th…

When editing the plugin SFC – Upcoming Events Widget
add “date_default_timezone_set(“America/Los_Angeles”);” after “function sfc_upcoming_event_output($event) {“. Set the timezone to the same timezone that hosts your server.

It is unfortunate that one must edit the source code for the plugin. My server identifies the time zone so the plugin should be able to detect the timezone itself. Regardless, thanks for posting the solution!
