• I have an enhancement request related to tracking outbound links as page views. This is obviously a specialized feature for those of us that want to track certain outbound links as “goals” in Google Analytics. However, I’d like to see filters that could be placed on this so only certain about links are tracked as pageviews.

As noted in the description of the feature, turning this on can skew your pageview statistics. However, there are just a few specific links that I want tracked as pageviews/goals instead of all of them.

In my case, its because my site is purposely driving traffic to some of my external projects. In my case mostly my Facebook applications, but anyone that drives traffic to other projects/sites intentionally could use this new feature.

The filters could be as simple as a list of specific URL’s to track, such as http://apps.facebook.com/myapp or http://www.myotherwebsite.com.
