  • I’m thinking about doing a ‘mediacast’ built around wordpress. With the Custom Fields feature, it should be a SNAP to add multiple enclosures. I want to embed any, and I do mean ANY media type. This is not a PodCast, it is not a VideoCast, it is a MediaCast. Images, Documents, Clips, Audio, etc. etc.

I found that in http://wordpress.org/support/topic/18499#post-111661 I can specify the key attributes (in specifically this order): enclosure uri, length (a.k.a. file size), and mime type. That solves one problem (I think someone needs to document that in the Codex if it isn’t already).
However, I know that down the road I’m going to have to specify some new attributes and brand spanking new Custom Fields.
I know I can create new custom fields, but what about attributes? Would this functionality happen to be included in WordPress? If not, would somebody have happened to created a plugin to accomplish this?
