Support » Plugin: Better Delete Revision » [Plugin: Better Delete Revision] "Optimize Database" vs "Delete Them" – what&#03

  • When you first get to the settings page, you can click “Check revision posts” or “Optimize your database”. If you first click “Check revision posts” you’re presented with a list of revisions, and at the very bottom there is a new button “Yes, I would like to delete them!”.

What’s the difference between clicking the “Optimize your database” button vs clicking the “Check revision posts” button, and then clicking “Yes, I would like to delete them!”?

I’m assuming they do the same thing, but wondering why the redundancy?

I haven’t actually clicked either yet, as I’m nervous this is going to totally mess up my site and/or database.

    Thanks.

They are two different things: the one removes your revisions, the other optimize your database if needed and does it in another way.
If you just want to remove your revisions, just use the function called this way.

    Bye
