• Does W3 cache dynamic content like ebay feeds? I always thought that it doesnt even touch stuff like that, I remember Frederick telling me that on this very forum. Yet it seems to be the case as about a month ago my ebay listings started to display funnily without changing any W3 Cache or Wordbay settings.

What happens is that I have geo-targeting on and for some reason the currency often is incorrect. It looks like W3 is caching the last person’s location who the page was cached for – thus giving me currencies like the swedish Krona or philippine pesos with the respective country’s listings, though it should be showing me euro and german/european listings. I also get a lot of dollars and canadian dollars as my target audience is american. This was not happening before December and its still going on now. Any idea what setting in W3 could be causing this? Thanks for any help.

That’s indeed how page caching works. Use fragment caching to ensure that this changes dynamically, see the FAQ for more information on implementation.

Thanks for pointing this out, Frederick. In what template file at what line do I have to paste in that syntax?

Which ever one contains the code to be left dynamic.
