If you delete all plugin files using ftp it will disable the plugin.
digitaldonkey,
Many, many thanks. I’m not an IT wizard, but was able to figure out how to do as you suggested, and it worked just fine.
I’m very grateful.
Ian
Digitaldonkey,
Hi, it’s Ian again. I’ve now gone down the route of installing WPG2, which was successful. However, I don’t apparently have Gallery 2 installed in my WordPress installation. Apologies in advance for my lack of know-how, but what is the easiest way to install Gallery 2, or is it hidden somewhere already and I just need to find it?
Regards,
Ian
WPG3 is made to connect the Web application “Gallery 3” to WordPress.
There is a WPG2 Plugin available too, which connects “Gallery 2” with WordPress. This plugin is at this time has more features than WPG3. But it’s not maintained anymore and not necessarily working with the lates WordPress Version.
WPG3 is Alpha state now. Means not ready for production use. In Beta state we’ll have implemented all features to be tested and optimized. The first stable release with hopefully no bugs left will be 1.0.
To Install Gallery please check out the Gallery Project site.
