[Plugin: Advanced Text Widget] advanced text widget overwrites sidebar widgets

    I have installed this plugin with the standard default buddypress simple community theme that comes with buddypress. However the plugin breaks the menus (from any of the community options, eg groups page). The Menus that appear in the left sidebar in this theme.
    ie I placed some text and a picture in the leftsidebar triggered by HOME page.

    However in every other page (community, groups etc) the standard dropdown menu in left sidebar doesnt work on all pages, its like this widget is hiding content???

    I’m not familiar with Buddypress and never tested the plugin with it. Does the plugin behave the same way with the default WP theme like Kubrick, Classic or 2010? If not, then it’s a theme-specific issue. I would recommend to take a look at the source and see what exactly gets broken. It could be as simple as tag mismatch that wraps the widget within the theme (or not :)).
