    Hi,

on trying to save posts, we were getting a 504 Gateway Timeout error, so we disabled all plugins and re-enabled them one by one. The problem disappeared until we re-enabled SKU Error Fixer for WooCommerce. We’ve now deleted the plugin and everything is fine again. I’m guessing that the plugin was making a behind-the-scenes call to your site and not getting a response in good time.

This is not a complaint; it’s just a report (and a thank-you) because the plugin did its job and resolved a pretty intractable duplicate-SKU problem after our having migrated a large osCommerce shop to woocommerce (not my idea but the SEO guys are in their comfort zone now – lol).

Anyway, thanks for a very useful plugin which saved us a load of hassle. By the time we got landed with the 504 Gateway Timeout problem, we already had our SKU mess sorted so all good.

All the best for 2018 🙂

    Jimmy

Follow-up: apologies but I had completely forgotten that when we first set up this web site, to keep it inaccessible to the public while we were getting it ready, I had shut the door using an ip-based htaccess redirect, hence the 504 Gateway Timeout.

    Sorry!

    Jimmy
