 * Can I please verify, have you managed to login into the dashboard after installing
   the plugin?
 * This hotfix only works once you login, if you are unable to do so you will need
   to restore your site from a backup.

 * I have managed to login to my site,but still lot of 503 service unavailable errors
   crop up especially when the traffic spikes up.

 * That seems like a resources issue under load rather than related to this bug,
   installing a caching plugin will help, you may want to consider [WP Super Cache](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/).
