I use PJW Version Check on my blog to keep up to date, but since I upgraded to the 2.0 beta it places it’s text over my little greeting in the top right corner. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you contacted the plugin’s developer?

Moving this to the 2.0 beta forum. I’d like to reiterate again that the 2.0beta is not an upgrade; it’s intended for testing only.

redrover, you should be able to drag the version check box wherever you want it, and have it stay there…. I move mine around all the time….

What do you move the version check box? I don’t see a box. :\

Um…. if you’re using a pc, you just left click and hold with mouse on the colored bar, and drag it where you want it. If you have a mac, I don’t know, but whatever you’d normally do to drag a box….

What version of PJW’s plugin are you using? Mine doesn’t have any drag and drop stuff to it.

Ahhhh. I’m using it as part of the WP-Dash installation, not the “normal” version. I see, after doing some further looking, what you are talking about. I just uploaded the 0.91beta version, which does “impossibly” place the display.

So you need to open the pjw_wp_version_monitor.php file, and scroll down to the “// We need some CSS to position the paragraph” section. In there change to the following values: top:35px; right:20px; – and tweak to your own specs and how you want it to display. You can change the display colors too….

That fixed it! Thanks a lot!

    You’re welcome! Happy blogging….
