I was forced to SSH into my shell account to move the plugin directory in order to restore my website to service.

When I try to reactivate the plugin after mv’ing back now, I get this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/wedevs-project-manager/cpm.php on line 407

My WordPress installation is at the latest release version, 4.7.3. I tested this out with the Twenty Seventeen default theme just in case it was theme-related, but got the same results. WP Project manager is at version 1.6.

This problem occurs with all other plugins disabled and the default Twenty Seventeen theme active.

Further, this problem occurs after completely uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin from scratch.

    Hello @oroboros2,

I’m extremely sorry that happened to you. That was basically happened because you were using a lower version of PHP that is already unsupported even by Zend (the PHP company). While we will be pushing a fix in a moment to support lower version of PHP, but you should REALLY upgrade your PHP version which is more faster and secure.

    Sorry for the trouble again.

I’ve upgraded to php 5.6 and the issue is gone. The default in CentOS 6 is php 5.3. Thank you.
