 * I didn’t see a recent thread for this…
 * Everything has been running smoothly, and now as of about 4 or 5 days I keep
   getting a 500 internal server error every time I try accessing my site. Sometimes
   it is only while I am signed in to manage the site, but now as of this morning,
   the site won’t load at all, there is ONLY the error message.
 * I haven’t changed anything in the past two weeks, and have removed all unused
   plugins except for Woocommerce, as I intend to use it shortly.
 * My site is:
 * [http://www.rabidhorse.com](http://www.rabidhorse.com)
 * Is there anything I can try?

 * Can you check the error log on your server? What does that say for recent log
   events?Are you running this on IIS or Apache? Did WordPress do an auto upgrade?
   Is your HTACCESS jacked?

 * Uhhhhh…. say what? 😀 I’m just a pedestrian…
 * I had a problem a few months ago which was wonderfully resolved through help
   here. I discovered, however, that my server doesn’t keep error logs for my account.
   I’m on GoDaddy, and I think it is Apache, but not sure. WordPress did not do
   an auto upgrade – it never does, even though I know it is supposed to. I don’t
   know what an HTACCESS is, my apologies…

 * 98% it’s a GoDaddy issue; talk to them. Being intermittent before was GoDaddy.
 * They’re an abysmal host. Best to find another: see [Recommended WordPress Web Hosting](http://wordpress.org/hosting/)

 * Sorry 🙂 DIdn’t mean to overwhelm you. I’d follow songdogtech’s advice and call
   GoDaddy. He’s right, they are the worst hosting company around. Do yourself a
   favor and get a better one.

 * 🙂 No problem, I really am trying to learn… 🙂
 * Sigh… so I should change host yet again? Well, that solution has been mentioned
   before…
