500 Internal Sever Error – How to fix?

  • I have this website http://duplicatemyself.com/ which was still working last friday but started stopped working and showing this error last saturday. I can’t able to access also the wp-admin panel so I don’t really have any idea as how to fix this problem.

On my cPanel i checked the error logs and this is what it says:

[Mon Sep 17 09:23:06 2012] [error] [client 49.145.100.17] SoftException in Application.cpp:601: Directory “/home/jwatts/public_html/duplicatemyself.com” is writeable by group

Also all my other domains were having the same problem also.

Any idea how to fix this?

Have you contacted your hosts about this?

Sounds like a hosting related problem or your hosting account may be hacked.

@esmi is right, you need to contact your hosting provider to find out what’s happening.

Yeah, I already sent a ticket about this and waiting now for their response.

By the way, domains were hosted on GoDaddy and site on Hostgator. I hope they are not having current issues.
