# 500 Internal Server Error – Jetpack Authorization

 * Hi all. OK, I’ve got a doozy here…
 * I’m getting the 500 Internal Server Error only when I try to log in to the admin
   page and access the dashboard. The site itself is up and running. This happened
   after I hit the button to “authorize” (I think that is what it said on the jetpack
   page of the dashboard). Jetpack was installed and running fine, but then I hit
   the button on the big green splash screen that shows up in the dashboard.
 * So, here is what I have done so far to fix it…
 * 1. Logged in via FTP and renamed the plugin folder. Didn’t work.
    2. Added a 
   php.ini file to increase php memory. Didn’t work. 3. Changed the wp-options table,
   active-plugins to a:0:{} – Didn’t work.
 * I am at a loss how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated!

   anymore or was it just the one time?)

 * The error is permanent trying to log into the dashboard. The site itself is up
   and appears to be fine. Though because I disabled the plug-ins, some of the little
   stuff the plug-ins do are obviously not functioning.
