500 internal server error, DB and server running

    Hi

    my wordpress site is down, displaying a “500 Internal server error”.

    Support at the hosting company are reporting, DB and server are up and running. They are asking me if i changed anything recently. I haven’t touched my site or the code for months.

    In the past when the site went down, it was always solved by a DB and/or server restart. I’ll need to pester them to restart.

    I’m wondering what the cause is.

    I don’t think it’s the permissions or the .htaccess cos it was running before.

    Can it be that I’m running out of webspace? I’m close to my MB limit.

    What else can i check?

    I don’t think it’s the permissions or the .htaccess cos it was running before.

    try to clear it (remember to make a back up) and encode first the basic like permalinks for testing.
