500 Internal Server Error After Running Automatic Update from 3.5 to 3.6

    I was running WordPress 3.5 earlier this morning without any problems but then I clicked on the automatic updated for 3.6 and I now get a 500 Internal Server Error.

    I tried downgrading the site files from to 3.5 and changing the name of the plugins folder but the site is still offline.

    Please help. Thank you. 🙂
