I am running into the same issue. I cannot replicate it though. I am able to post while logged, but others who actually need to use it get an internal server error when they try to submit. I am running the latest WordPress (4.4) and version of this plugin. It’s a very minimal, memorial site and this is pretty much the only feature on it.
