[Resolved] 500 internal server error

    @rickywootton9

    I must warn you all I am not very techy minded.
    Bought a domain name and hosting from 123.
    One click installed wordpress
    Added a few plug-ins and changed the Theme ……. everything going smoothly.
    I tried to change the settings so that the root url only showed a “news feed” category in Settings/General.

    I changed it from connersbook.co.uk/blog to connersbook.co.uk/blog/categories/news-feed, when I refreshed the page it gave me a skeleton site with only the sidebars and a 404 error. If I try and log-in to wp to change it back i get a 500 internal server error and tells me to contact support@123-reg.co.uk.

    I have contacted them and they say it is a coding error and i need to contact wordpress. Here I am, please help!

    The site itself has a privacy plug in so it will come up with authentication log-in.

    Thanks in advance
