# 500 Internal Server Error

 * My co-owner decided to mess with the properties of the files to 777 and now I’m
   getting this
    “Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error
   or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
 * More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
 * Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument
   to handle the request. “
 * what can i do to fix this?

   for me to delete our wordpress folder and jsut re-upload what we have?

   Disable all the plugins – redo the upgrade of the wordpress and upgrade it manually

 * I have a question:
    i want to just reinstall wordpress but i don’t want to lose
   the pages i made and i have a database backup downloaded to my computer. is it
   possible to delete wordpress and install it again and then add what i have from
   the database backup?
