# 500 Internal server error

 * Hi, yestarday I installed the plugin to a new website I’m developing.
    Wordpress
   version is 3.8.1. I simple install the MailPoet Newsletters plugin. When I try
   to active it. I get follow error:
 * “Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration
   and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator,
   and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done
   that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available
   in the server error log.”
 * The site still work, but I can’t access to wordpress dashboard.
 * To solve it, I need to access from ftp client and rename the plugin.
 * You know why is happend ?

 * This is related to a lack of memory on your server. Please install first the 
   plugin [http://wordpress.org/plugins/change-memory-limit/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/change-memory-limit/)
   to increase your server memory (try 128MB). Then install and activate wysija 
   again!
 * Let us know if that solved your issue, okay?!
