  • Hi Guys,

    1s post here.

I was asked to add a facebook like button to http://www.grogansolicitors.ie which i did using the facebook developer tool.

The like button didnt show up in on IE so on searching for answers I edited the standards.php file and th e site now has an Internal Error 500 issue.

I didnt build this site so dont have FTP passwords.

Is there anyway I can reset the password or recover the site.

I have contacted the hosters but I was just wondering is this the only way

    Thanks
    John

Unfortunately, if the change you made to that php file crashed the site, you’ll need to be able to deactivate the theme or plugin where that file is located in order to regain access.

    Thanks for the Reply!!!

ok so can i ftp to the site if I can get the password and replace the corrupted file?

The companies email is gone down too. shouldthat not normally be connected to the domain hoster?
