• I usually don’t update my plugins or version of my site because this ALWAYS happens. I actually decided to update the plugins and no it is taking extremely long for my site to load AND I keep getting a 500 Internal Server Error when I try to go in and determine which plugin update is causing this problem.

It is taking FOREVER!! I can’t figure it out and I have very limited knowledge of HTML or CSS so please give me basic instructions for how to fix this.

Greatly appreciated. And I have no idea what version I am using because I cannot check my site right now. I was going to update to the most recent version of WordPress, but that it not going to happen. I may lose all info like last time.

If it comes down to the fact that all info on my blog is lost, I might lose it myself.

your site is on version 3.32 http://whatsernamejewelry.com/readme.html

Your site appears to be hosted on godaddy, so you may want to review the godaddy support forums and/or post a message there to find out whether it is a server issue rather than a problem isolated to just your site.

login to ftp and view your log file!

When you update your WordPress installation, you update the core files. Your database content does not get affected, so you won’t lose your site.

The problem with Godaddy is that they are very popular and their servers get very crowded. If you contact them, they might be able to move you to a different one.

It looks like the site is loading at this time.

I’d be happy to have it reviewed if you’re still having trouble. Our support team is available 24/7 and you can contact them by phone or email: http://x.co/heretohelp

If you submit a support ticket, please reply to this thread with the ticket number and I’ll be happy to locate it and see what I can do to help.
