# 500 Internal Server error

 * Hello All,
    It seems this is a common and generic error but the fix seems to 
   vary. I’m having a hard time getting this install to install –
 * > Internal Server Error
   > The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
   > to complete your request.
   >  Please contact the server administrator and inform
   > them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that 
   > may have caused the error.
   > More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
 * I used to have no problem installing via godaddy’s app manager. I am on a linux
   server and got these logs a few minutes ago.
 * > SecurityException in Application.cpp:588: Handler not found in configuration
   > 
   > Caused by KeyNotFoundException in Configuration.cpp:259: Handler “x-httpd-php5-
   > 3” not found [Tue Jul 24 14:46:50 2012] [error] [client 24.43.155.66] Premature
   > end of script headers: /var/chroot/home/content/e/d/d/eddyizm/html/wp/wp-admin/
   > install.php SecurityException in Application.cpp:588: Handler not found in 
   > configuration Caused by KeyNotFoundException in Configuration.cpp:259: Handler“

 * Any clues or a way to point me would be lovely.

 * I’d suggest you contact GoDaddy about this.
 * > Caused by KeyNotFoundException in Configuration.cpp:259: Handler “x-httpd-php5-
   > 3” not found
 * suggests that it’s a server configuration issue.

 * Thanks Esmi – I opened a support ticket with godaddy simultaneously as well.
