# 500 Internal Server Error

 * Hi, I am getting an error below and it appears because I have added too many 
   plugins into my WordPress site.
 * My website is meant to be at [http://www.canvasofinnovation.com](http://www.canvasofinnovation.com)
   but nothing now seems to load (even the wp-admin or the website in the FTP program).
 * Here is the message I am getting:
 * Internal Server Error
 * The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to
   complete your request.
 * Please contact the server administrator, [webmaster@canvasofinnovation.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/500-internal-server-error-149/webmaster@canvasofinnovation.com?output_format=md)
   and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done
   that may have caused the error.
 * More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
 * Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying 
   to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
 * Does anyone know how to fix this in the most efficient and easiest way possible?
 * Any help will be appreciated!

 * A plugin of the theme might be causing this.
 * Start by disabling the plugins 1 by 1 until you find the culprit. Since you do
   not have access to the wp-admin section, you can disable plugins by deleting 
   their folder from the /wp-content/plugins/ folder using FTP.
