# 500 internal error causing problems

 * One day I tried to click on my website and it cam up saying:
 * > Internal Server Error
   > The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
   > to complete your request.
   > Please contact the server administrator, [webmaster@crossfitborder.com.au](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/500-internal-error-causing-problems/webmaster@crossfitborder.com.au?output_format=md)
   > and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have
   > done that may have caused the error.
   > More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
   > Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an 
   > ErrorDocument to handle the request.
 * I’ve accessed error logs and this seems to be the main issue
 * > (12)Cannot allocate memory: couldn’t create child process: /opt/suphp/sbin/
   > suphp for /home/crossfit/public_html/index.php
 * Can anyone help?

 * That’s a problem with your hosting server set up. You’ll need to contact your
   hosting company and get them to fix the issue.
