500 error suddenly

    suddenly I am getting a 500 error when trying to access my site. When I go to admin…it tells me that the database cannot connect. I have checked all my settings in the admin-php they appear correct. The data base is ok from what I can tell. I need help as this is a charity site and every minute I’m down, costs donations. Can someone please help.

    If it worked till now and you did not do anything to it… why not contacting the host, instead of asking here?
