500 Error on WP Admin after installation

    Every time I have tried installing the woocommerce plugin, I then get a 500 error when trying to access my wp admin. It isn’t until I delete the plugin using my ftp server that I can regain access to my wp admin.

    I am currently using the Avada theme 3.8.3 (paid version) which I thought was optimized to utilize the woocommerce plugin. WordPress version is 4.2.1

    Any help would be extremely helpful!!
