I noticed Yoast is no longer displaying the sitemap on a client site. https://www.fountainof30.com/sitemap_index.xml/
For good measure I disabled all the plugin but yoast, same error.
PHP is literally timing out in the logs.
FastCGI sent in stderr: “PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 100663296 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2097160 bytes) in /www/fountainof30.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo-premium/inc/sitemaps/class-taxonomy-sitemap-provider.php on line 97” while reading response header from upstream, client: x.x.x.x, server: http://www.fountainof30.com, request: “GET /sitemap_index.xml/ HTTP/2.0”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php-fpm-x:”, host: “www.fountainof30.com”
I made sure all caches were cleared as well. This happened before updating to the current yoast build as well. I am not seeing any other errors in my log files around this.
They are a premium subscriber as well if that matters.
    Thanks

My problem was that there were so many tags on this site that the sitemap blew out php, after allowing more memory the sitemap started working again.
