Support » Everything else WordPress » 5. Trialware is not permitted

  • Hello,

is the solution is only “add-on plugins”?

its seems hard to manage project that restrict hundred of bit portion of functionality across the project on non-simple plugin to separated plugin a.k.a add-on plugin.

User always babbling “too-much plugin installed”, and the developer who got the blamed.

Please at least provide some reference, documentation or tutorial on how to manage these issue, at least give some tips/tricks.

    Kind regards,

    Sorry, what?

If a developer builds trial like functionality in their plugin code then that’s trialware and that is not permitted. No one can limit opensource code here on this site that way.

If you have a question about the plugin guidelines then you can ask in the #pluginreview Slack channel.

To use that channel you need a Slack account. You can obtain one via these instructions.
