  • Hey team – I’m sharing a couple of potential improvements to the 5.9 /about page that loads when a user first updates WP to the latest version:

Related to this language (bolding is mine):

    > As blocks increase, patterns emerge, and content creation gets easier, new solutions are needed to make complex content easy to navigate.

The bolded fragment, “blocks increase,” is probably grammatically incorrect, but is at least confusing by being unspecific, i.e. will the usage of blocks increase, or the variety of blocks, or will blocks just get bigger šŸ˜‰

Here are suggestions for alternate wording depending on the point being made:

    > As block usage increases, …

    > As breadth of blocks increases, …

    > As the number of blocks increases, …

Also, I find the image next to the “Edit the Templates Around Posts” section to be confusing. It currently shows the block library, which is not specific to the template editor. I would expect to see an image of template editing to clearly and unmistakably differentiate template editing from page/post editing.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
