5.3.10 version and prior was better, New Update Not So Great
-
Just like some of other reviewers I have been using this plugin since it came out. Now that a new company has overtaken it has not been the same. So glad I kept a backup.
Since the update of 6.0.0 it looks like they create an account for you during an ‘on-boarding process’ after you install the plugin, for what? I’m trying to see just my Google statistics nothing more.
You should not need to do an on-boarding to use the plugin in order to connect the plugin to see Google Analytics data. I can understand if you want to charge for your extra features like Integrations and only then would I need an account or need to connect through your server.
You should re-think your strategy or you will continue have unhappy users.
Otherwise, someone from Google or another WP user/developer will surely be glad to make a WordPress Plugin themselves to contribute to the community.
