$table_prefix cannot contain a dash (-)

    just started installation, and got held up on Step 1 where it said it couldn’t create the Links tables. it was because i used a dash in the table prefix ‘wp-test_’. changing it to ‘wp_test_’ cleared it up. just wanted to give the heads-up in case anyone else runs into that problem.

    hmm, that’s weird. it encoded the ampersand of the ‘$’ character code in the post title, not the ‘$’ character itself.
