• Hi Joost. Loving the plugin.
    Just one thing tho.

I want to be able to decide what the canonical url for a page is by setting some kind of a global or by hooking into one of your functions.

Pages created using the Pods CMS plugin could benefit from that, as well as any custom implementation.

Right now the canonical() function is a bit restrictive. Maybe you could add a check to see if a global for example “$wpseo_canonical” is set. If so canonical() would output the url set in this variable.

Right now all the custom pages I have outstide of WordPress post types point back to the baseurl :(.

By the way i didn’t encounter this problem with the page title cause of course i can filter wp_title() for my own global. But you could maybe make it easier to set the title to ?

Hope you can fit something in soon to do all this. Thanks
