When you installed the plugin onto your blog it should have placed the dippsy folder inside of the wp-content/plugins folder. You will either have to log into a file manager provided by your web host or access your webserver through FTP in order to change the file permissions for the folder.
JarretC my question was “I have to create Dippsy products folder? because I can’t see it. All the Dippsy folder have 755 permission.
Because when I check the Images folder, say is ok. Error is when press Check “Check if Dippsy products folder ([Wordpress content folder]/dippsy/) is writable”. telling me that is not writeable. Why?
Images is OK… but product folder doesn’t it? where is the product folder is located?
The plugin should have created a folder within the wp-content/plugins directory but it seems as though it is checking to see if the dippsy folder exists within the wp-content directory.
Per the plugin instructions you will need to also create a folder named dippsy within the wp-content folder. This folder cannot be created through the Dashboard so you will have to either log into your webserver through FTP or go through a file manager provided by your webhost to create the dippsy folder in the appropriate location.
Sorry for your time, I see that you don’t understand me. I installed the pluging, then the pluging creat dipssy folder inside wp-content/plugins/
but inside dipssy folder I can’t find any folder with name product or products, I don’t know why say “Folder is unwritable if when I am doing the setup I can upload the photo for the product that I want to sell but when I am trying to upload the file in pdf to sell, have the error “Folder unwritable”. The permission of the Dipssy folder is 755 (rwxr-xr-x).. what is happening?
When I installed the Dippsy plugin it placed a dippsy folder inside the wp-content/plugins directory. Inside of that folder there are 4 folders: css, images, js, locale along with several other files.
But you also need to create a folder named dippsy in the wp-content directory as well. Once you have this folder created in the wp-content directory when do you a check for the Products folder it will successfully find it.
The plugin places products you are selling in the dippsy folder inside of the wp-content folder and not inside of the dippsy folder in wp-content/plugins. So when you are trying to upload a product it is giving you the error message because you don’t have a dippsy folder located in wp-content.
Thank you. I did it. And now is working, but I have another question:
Why When I press button “Store” is showing me down in the menu “Thank you button” & “Cancel Button”?
If you don’t understand my question, please check in my website what I am talking about.

And is when you press are with mouse over “Tienda Virtual” is my STORE
Thanks
Why When I press button “Store” is showing me down in the menu “Thank you button” & “Cancel Button”?
That’s because these two pages are children of the default Dippsy store page. I believe you can disable showing them by changing the depth
argument in wp_list_pages
function to 1 in your theme header.php
file.
And is when you press are with mouse over “Tienda Virtual” is my STORE
It looks fine – ie displays “Tienda Virtual” – from here (Firefox 3).
(I see you’re using a cache plugin. Prehaps it needed to refresh itself.)
