[Plugin: Register Plus Redux] Finally Register Plus is back.. but with some errors

    Hi, I just discovered register plus redux and I have to say I was waiting for it, I had the orignal regiter plus installed for long time.

    Anyway I see some little bugs, I’m working os some functionalities on a fresh istallation of wordpress on a test site, theme is Twentyten,
    PHP Version 5.2.6-1+lenny9

    the errors I’m getting are:

    Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/www/test-site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/register-plus-redux/register-plus-redux.php on line 1545
    Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/www/test-site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/register-plus-redux/register-plus-redux.php on line 1554

    and so on for every profile field (name, website etc.) this happens if I enable Add asterisk to left of all required field's name. checkbox.

    not very important, I can keep the checkbox disabled anyway..

    The second problem is this error:
    Warning: sprintf() [function.sprintf]: Too few arguments in /home/www/test-site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/register-plus-redux/register-plus-redux.php on line 1720

    I get this below the password strenght meter as soon as I changed the worpdress language from en_EN to it_IT

    any hint on how to solve this problem?

    ok, solved the second error, there was some problem on the italian translation files .po and .mo, I edited with poedit, if you want the correct version is here:

    the asterisk error is still there..

    I recently became aware of the asterisks issue, I’ll have the resolved in the next release. Thank you for resolving the translation issue, I’ll make sure to notify the translator and have this resolved for any future updates. Let me know if you run into anything else, I’m eager to keep improving the plugin.

    about what I changed in the “register-plus-redux-it_IT.po” maybe your translator would like to know:

    on line 916:
    <strong>ERRORE/strong>: Inserisci una password.
    the tag was not closed

    on line 859: (this was causing my second error)

    La tua password dovrà contenere almeno %d caratteri. Per potere rendere più sicura la tua password, usa lettere maiuscole e minuscole, numeri nonché i seguenti simboli !@#$%^&*()

    I don’t know why, but the character “^” was causing the error, I simply deleted the second part of the translated text. It solved the error for me, but maybe there is a cleaner solution for that.

    I’ll let you know if get more errors, I’m going to use your plugin on a number of sites 🙂

    misthero, just an FYI, I believe the asterisks issue is finally resolved in 3.7.2 and the Italian translation has been fixed so you shouldn’t have to worry about that anymore either. Thank you for your feedback!
