If post contains "gallery"(more than 1 image)=auto make featured or grab 1st img

    i dont know if this is because of my theme or it is wp problem but if in my post i add more than 1 images (gallery) it doesnt grab the 1st image to show it in the frontpage!
    so maybe question is in 2 parts:
    how can i force it to automake 1 featured image taken from gallery? or,
    how can it grab 1st image from gallery (without featured) and show it to my post 1st page?

    thank u in advance, i just moved to wp and it’s great!

    any clue?
    now i have the same if i add the image in the post from another url.
    again, it doesnt show the image in frontpage!
    small thumbnails in the widgets show the image (50x50px)
