• I looked in the header.php editor and all the code is there but no size numbers to know what pixel it is? I keep trying to upload an custom one and it keeps making me crop it even though I’ve changed sizes based on what people said wp headers are. This is the Zenith template.

    thanks

Every theme is different. Try checking in your theme’s function.php.

ok found it, says 1000×150, but that makes no sense as I did a 1000×150 image and it made me crop, I did a 760×100 and it made me crop, i went smaller and it still made me crop . what the heck?

    What is the URL?

backlinkingpros.com , you’ll notice the text in the header vs the page body, page is so much sharper, I’ve seen headers on other wp sites with sharp text so not sure why this isn’t working. It looks perfect in Gimp, but once uploaded… fuzziness. Also it makes me crop no matter what size I input. Says the header is 1000×150, didn’t work, and neither did 760×100, think I have it at 650×95 or something like that.

This may be an issue with the original image.

I made a header that is 1000 x 150 and uploaded it to the zenlite theme on a test site and it did not crop and it was not fuzzy.

This is the URL http://capturescreenvideo.com/ for the test site.

You may try re-doing the original image.

also the original image was canvassed/scaled to 1000×150

    Sure, you can have it.

    I’ll send it to you.

    It was done in Fireworks.
