Log out problems from admin

    Seems like a long standing problem – have yet to find a definitive solution ???

    Logging out from admin I get a blank page – dump cookies I get page with question – “do you really want to log out?” Forbidden – words to that effect.

    All plugins deactivated, same on FF & IE & Chrome.

    Does anyone know the REAL problem here??

    – to start with, try clearing cache / cookies in your browser.
    -try different browser or computer.

    Thanks – done all that – same on at least three diffrent machines – two XP – One Win2k – two different IP’s – dumped cache & cookies.

    I think its plug in related – no problems until I load “Register Plus Redux” – unloaded it and the behavior continues. But this seens to be a long standing issue – I see post that go back 6 years – but I can’t seem to find a complete discussion and solution.

    have you tried:

    -deactivating ALL plugins. If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the culprit?
    -switching to the default theme (Twenty Ten) by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes to rule out any theme-specific issue?
    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
