Unable to Preview Posts

    I have a couple of sites mapped but I am unable to preview any posts.

    Also, when I have my permalinks structure to only show post name
    the preview buttons brings up the default link structure of
    mysite.com/?p=4&preview=true

    this is starting to get frustrating. i’ve searched for hours and cannot find a solution!

    That’s what the URL is supposed to be. The permalink ‘name’ isn’t saved until you publish.

    What happens when you try to preview a post?

    Ok now this is annoying. The preview button gave me a 404 error for the 5 hours that I worked to try to fix it yesterday.

    Fast forward to now. It works… I saw this in another thread about how the issue fixed itself.

    How is this possible? Is there something in wordpress that refreshes/reloads with time?

    Could be caching on your server or your browser.

    Could be the mystical monkey that sometimes puts gum in my code and removes it a day later when I’m banging my head on the desk.
