Member page & digital portfolio plugin

I have a membership site called Displaced Journalists. I’m creating a new one to find people work or help them partner with each other to start new ventures. It’s basically a news co-op. I want people to be able to join, then create elegant digital portfolios with resume, work samples in text, video, photo format, which would require uploading capability. I want to make sure they can only edit their own pages. I need to be able to search (by keyword) these portfolios to find specific candidates for gigs or full-time jobs. After I build this, I would also like to enable social networking (some form of BuddyPress may work) so they can talk privately among themselves. Then, I will eventually need to build some way to sell their work to content providers through the website. Are there plugins for any of this, especially the portfolio part, which is the first thing I need to execute? Thanks, in adavance.
