Did you check the unsuccessful transfer queue on the CDN settings tab?

I’m having the same issue — using cloudfront and no files are available when I select ‘upload your minify files’. I have around five js files and two css files selected in the minify section. The preview html is looking for the files at the cdn.

All other files have uploaded to s3 correctly and are available through cloudfront. Another post mentioned some permissions issues with the w3tc/min folder, but it’s 755 like all the rest, there is nothing in the unsuccessful transfer que (haven’t been able to select the files in the first place…), and I really don’t know where to go from here. Any thoughts?

    Hi,

I realized that the problem was due to using APC for minify. When I switched off APC it was all ok.

Another minify problem I was having after that where the minification of JS and CSS would show up in the output html but no file would be created, this seemed to have been solved atleast for now with a complete uninstall and re-install of this plugin.

    Mishari,

    Thanks for the response.

I am using disk all across the board for now and nothing is set to APC.

Still browsing around trying to find an answer…

Please post a message when you figure it out, I want to make sure I don’t trigger this issue again.

No one has indicated if they checked their unsuccessful transfer queue…?

    Hi Fredrick,

My transfer queue constantly shows failed items if I don’t enable the force upload function.

But, this problem doesn’t come from the transfer queue, it seems to emanate from the fact that the minification process seems to work erratically.

    Edit:
Erratic as in sometimes there are assets created and sometimes there are not. I would make updates and all of a sudden I would have no minified CSS / JS for a while even when CDN is disabled. Then it will start working again.

So, I went back to this problem after a week or so and to my shock, there are now files that are available for upload — I did nothing, perhaps.. well, I have no idea.

What kind of hosting do you all have (shared for example)? Also consider using the development version which uses an updated amazon library.

I personally am using a resource-dedicated vps/cloud-type offering that seems to have plenty of overhead..

For the development version — generally I try to stay away from these types of deployments on live sites, should this be any different? I’ll check it out on some hobby sites.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I’m hosted on MediaTemple. I’m on dev version right now. Presently it says that “The unsuccessful transfer queue has unresolved errors. Emppty the queue to restore normal operation.” but when I click on the button it says both upload queue and delete queues are empty.

The header mentions minified files but when I look in the wp-content/w3tc/min/xxxxxx/ folder those files don’t exist.

Does the issue occur with all other plugins disabled or with the twentyten theme?

    Hi Fredrick,

I disabled all the plugins and used the twentyten theme. Still as soon as I enable minification the issue appears.

    Best regards

Can you submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin please or try the development version and see if the problem persists?

    Hi Fredrick,

Submitted a bug report, please let me know if you have any further clues.

    Best regards
