Password Protected Page Won't Load

    I have created a simple page and password protected it. When I go to that page (from a different browser that is not logged in) I am prompted to enter the password. I enter the password but do not get to the page.

    I’ve tried the following to fix the problem:
    1. Deactivating all plug ins.
    2. Changing the default them (from Default 1.7.2based on Kubrik to Fluid Blue 1.72)
    3. Checking the .htaccess file (it says exactly what WordPress says it should)
    4. Checking to see that my WordPress directory (/wordpress) and my site (www.ericmann.com) are listed correctly in settings.

    HELP! Any ideas?

    I’d certainly like to know the answer to this as well. I’m searching all over the web, and it seems like people all over are having this problem but no one has a definitive solution to it. This leads me to believe it’s a bug.
